Our Philosophy

At North Shore Nursery School an atmosphere is provided where children can grow in a loving and nurturing environment. We are dedicated to developing each child’s social, emotional, educational and spiritual growth. An abundance of creative materials and age-appropriate experiences are provided to foster cognitive as well as social skills. Children learn to feel good about themselves, to work with peers, to accept limits and to develop positive attitudes toward the school experience. Through hands on activities, and the learning through play model, children develop a life-long love of learning.

Children learn that God loves them. They are taught to appreciate the similarities and differences in all of God’s children regardless of race, creed, gender or physical ability. Caring, kindness and compassion for each other and all those around us are modeled and reinforced on a daily basis. Children learn to appreciate themselves and the wonders of the world around them as creations of God.
